EDP Hotels Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Somerset Hotel

EDP Hotels is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Somerset Hotel in Para Hills, marking an exciting new chapter of growth for the Group. This strategic addition expands our South Australian footprint to 18 hotels and 19 venues, further strengthening our presence across the state.

The Somerset Hotel joins an established portfolio of leading hospitality venues, including the award‑winning Bridgeport Hotel in Murray Bridge and the Sporties Tavern in Port Pirie. As our second hotel in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, the Somerset’s strong local following and deep community ties make it an exceptional fit for our Group’s values and long‑term vision.

Settlement is scheduled for March 2026, and we look forward to welcoming the Somerset Hotel team into the EDP Hotels family.
